Another hint from this site bad dreams : If your child is having a nightmare , with out waking him/her gently place the palm of your hand on the back of her/his neck , apply gentle presure , I found that child calms and returns to undisturbed sleep with in 15 to 45 seconds , If child is sleeping on back try putting your hand on the fore head .

Welcome to the Birthday office site , I originally came up with the idea while baby sitting for a house mate , her daughter [5 going on 6 ], upset about something , was beginning a crying jag . Off the top of my head I explained the birthday office. The reaction was so immediate and complete I told her mother when she came in .
